What is the ECO4 scheme?
ECO4 is the fourth generation of the Energy Company Obligation scheme. It is a government backed commitment devised to improve the energy efficiency of homes with low Energy performance Certificate (EPC) ratings and outdated heating systems such as non-condensing gas boilers.
A total of £4 billion has been set aside for improvements to British homes.
Who qualifies for ECO4 home improvements grant?
Homeowners and private tenants who have limited incomes or receive benefits may qualify for the ECO4 grant, enabling them to enhance their heating systems. This initiative, supported by the government, strives to enhance the energy efficiency of UK properties with lower EPC ratings.
